According to the 1730 classification by Mátyás Bél Sípos is a second growth in Tállya. The fact that it is classified – in contrast to so many other vineyards in the area - is in itself a testament to its great potential. We cultivate 80 year old vines on this 0,8 hectare plot. This is a south-facing vineyard with rhyolite-basalt soils planted mainly with Furmint and some Hárslevelű. Sípos was love at first sight because the top of the hill offers a view of the temple towers of Tállya. It’s great to look up while working and spend some moments enjoying the view.
